AboUt mE

I am Pagupathi Devandran doing electronic engineering in PSP. I joined in the month of November. I am from Penang Island, and I graduate from SMK Haji Zainul Abidin. I love studying in PSP. I get a few good friends here.

I hope that, we will do well in all our exams. Besides that, we will make  use of every second of our politeknik life and make it a memorable one.

I am an outgoing person. I love going to new places. So far, I have visited War Museum in Penang, Pulau Pangkor, Langkawi, Toy Mesuem, and so on...

This is the War Museum, that I have visited recently. they do activities like pain ball here. This is a private museum complex, built by the British as a hill fort in the 1930's used by the Japanese as a POW camp and killing place.

The War Museum was constructed and completed with logistic centre, sleeping quarters, medical infirmary, military tunnels and canon firing bays. So people who like to check out the weapons and monuments during the colonization of British, one can make a trip here to this War Museum.

I have visited to toy museum. Toy Museum was located in Tanjung Bungah, and recently it has moved to Heritage Garden, Teluk Bahang, Penang. I was inspired to collect toys after visiting this museum.
Reputed as the largest of its kind in the world, the Museum house over 100,000 toys, dolls and others fun collectibles. It has also entered Malaysia Book of Records as the first toy museum in the country and with the largest toy and figurine collection.

Langkawi island is an archipelago of 104 islands lying in the north western coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The exact location of these tropical islands is at the site where the Straits of Malacca meets the waters of the Andaman Seas.
The largest of these islands is called Langkawi Island and is bigger than the Penang Island.

I hope that I can visit more places in future.

I am Pagupathi's good friend Loshinee Nair Sasitharan from Chemor, Perak. I'm doing the same course as Pagupathi and we are in the same class. I graduated from SMK Dato Haji Mohd Taib, Chemor Perak. I have successfully entered IPT to further my studies. So, I hope I can concentrate on my studies and do my level best to become an excellent student in this politeknik.
I have got wonderful friends here. They are being good to me, and I hope that we will be recognised by our success one day after graduating from this IPT, and I also hope that we will go through this politeknik life without any negative impacts in all of us.

expectation on my programme

Expectations on my programme
I am doing computer application programme. Computer application or computer programme is series of instructions that a computer is specifically tasked to do or execute. It is made up of different source codes by a computer programmer. Computer applications or programs can be a system software or an application software.

This are the things that I have learnt in computer application programme. I have learnt about input and output, monitor, motherboard and so on. The output devices of computers are printer, mouse, speaker and so on. The input devices of computers are webcam, screen, keyboard and so on.

I also learnt about the history about computer. the word computer, origin from latin which is computare, meaning 'to count, sum up; reckon'. Computer means a person  who carried out calculations, or computations. This is the first electro-mechanical binary programmable computer in 1941.

My expectations on this programme are to find out more about computers. In daily life, computer is being one of the most important gadget. All walks of life are using computer nowadays. To not left behind, knowledge on computers are very important.

By learning this programme, I would be able to use the computer as a tool of productivity. It will provide a broad foundation and sharpen my skill preparation for entry into or advancement in today's workplace.

Besides that,  job possibilities include support in the areas of engineering, requires the use of computer applications as a necessary tool of production. Emphasis is placed on the proficient use of software applications as well as the ability to use those applications as tools in decision making, managing people and information, communicating effectively, enhancing company viability and addressing many of today's technology challenges. So, I'm expecting that by learning this programme, I can communicate effectively, make decisions and so on easily using computer in my working environment in future.
